The Metropolis of New York is urging those that attended the Anime NYC 2021 Conference to get examined for coronavirus (COVID-19).
“We are aware of a case of the Omicron variant identified in Minnesota that is associated with travel to a conference in New York City, and we should assume there is community spread of the variant in our city,” mentioned Mayor Invoice de Blasio in a press release shared to the official Metropolis of New York Twitter. Mayor de Blasio said that the town is “working closely with the State and the CDC, as well as the Javits Center’s event organizers, and our Test and Trace Corps will be contacting conference attendees.”
In the event you attended the Anime NYC 2021 Conference on the Javits Middle from November 18-22, get examined for #COVID19 as quickly as potential.

Anime NYC 2021 passed off on the Javits Middle in Manhattan between Nov. 18 and Nov. 22. The conference required masks and, in accordance with de Blasio, adopted NYC’s Key2NYC requirement that mandated all attendees be vaccinated. The assertion continued to induce conference attendees, “especially anyone experiencing symptoms,” to get examined for COVID-19 as quickly as potential.
“I urge all New Yorkers to get vaccinated, wear a face mask while indoors and in public, and help out city beat this virus once and for all,” de Blasio mentioned.
