Wipeout Rush has been introduced for iOS and Android. The primary authentic Wipeout title since 2012’s Wipeout 2048, Rush is a full-fledged entry that mixes the sequence’ basic hyper-speed racing with card-based mechanics.

As proven briefly within the trailer, gamers will gather and merge power-up playing cards for his or her anti-grave automobiles. In keeping with IGN, Rush contains a full single-player marketing campaign (instructed in comedian book-style panels), and 12 championship cups. Rush additionally has 5 ranges, and races carry out at 60 frames-per-second on succesful units.

The sport is being printed by Rogue Video games. Its CEO, Matt Casamassina, gave a press release to IGN, saying partly “We hope fans will come to it with an open mind because—although different—we’re proud to bring the wipEout franchise back into focus with a fresh take on the formula.”

In keeping with the trailer, Wipeout Rush is coming “soon”, although IGN experiences an early 2022 launch. Whereas it’s not coming to consoles like many followers would most likely desire, it’s good to see the sequence have some form of pulse.
